Is this insurance?
No, and it is not a replacement for it. This is a membership for routine and urgent care without per-visit bills. It will not cover a hospital stay or surgery. Plenty of members keep a high-deductible insurance plan for emergencies and use this for everything else.
Can I get prescriptions?
Yes, when a provider decides one is appropriate. It goes to the pharmacy you already use. Over a thousand common medications are available at no cost through participating local pharmacies. Controlled substances are not prescribed.
Do I see the same doctor each time?
For your primary care, yes. That is the point of the membership rather than a walk-in service. Urgent care at 2am will be whoever is on shift, which is how urgent care works everywhere.
Does it renew, and how do I cancel?
Yes, it renews automatically at the end of whichever term you choose, and keeps renewing until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your account. You keep access for the rest of the term you have already paid for, and you are not charged again after that.
Is my family covered?
Not on this plan. There is a family membership that covers up to seven additional people on one subscription — ask us and we will send the details.
